Best Hotels in Dubai: Complete Ranking 2025

delano dubai

In a city with over 135,000 hotel rooms available, choosing the best hotels in Dubai can be a challenge. From gleaming Italian-designed skyscrapers to authentic Arabian desert resorts, the options are vast and varied. We’ve taken the guesswork out of it and selected our personal favorites, suitable for every type of traveler. Here’s our vetted selection of the best hotels in Dubai.

How we choose the best hotels in Dubai

Each hotel on this list has been independently selected by editors and presented by a journalist. Condé Nast Traveler (a prestigious travel publication) who knows the destination well and has personally stayed at the property. In our selection, we pay attention to both luxury properties and boutique and lesser-known places that offer an authentic and in-depth experience. We always look for impressive design, excellent location and a warm welcome – as well as serious commitments to sustainability. This list is updated regularly as new hotels open and existing ones develop.

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Dubai

It’s the latest place to be and be seen in Dubai. Rising from the ocean like a futuristic super-plane, the highly anticipated Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is the latest addition to Jumeirah’s maritime trilogy, joining the undulating Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the sail-like Jumeirah Burj Al Arab on the city’s most desirable stretch of beach. Despite the property’s size – 300 rooms, 86 suites and 82 serviced residences – a special effort has been made to create a sense of intimacy and exclusivity. The lobby is divided into zones, partially hidden by mashrabiya screens, centred on a striking Viennoiserie bakery by celebrity chef Pierre Hermé, where rows of exquisite pastries look almost too pretty to eat. Rooms at Marsa Al Arab are inspired by vintage Riva boats from Italy, with understated nautical details and terraces overlooking the Burj Al Arab or the hotel’s marina and the curve of Kite Beach beyond. Amenities include Votary products and celebrity stylist Rossano Ferretti, and all rooms have Dyson hairdryers.
Marsa’s 15 restaurants and bars offer endless dining options, but the highlight is The Fore, dubbed Dubai’s first “transformative dining space.” Four distinct restaurants—the Japanese Umi Kei, inspired by kintsugi art; the Asian Madame Li; the cozy Mediterranean brasserie Mirabelle; and The Bombay Club, curated by renowned Indian chef Manav Tuli—transform in the morning through sliding panels and hidden walls into a single space serving one of the city’s best breakfasts.

Delano Dubai

delano dubai
Delano’s Middle East debut is on Bluewaters Dubai, the man-made island that also houses the world’s largest Ferris wheel. This hotel has the potential to be just as groundbreaking as the original Delano in Miami. Unlike most five-star hotels in Dubai, which are covered in marble and chandeliers, Delano has a clean, elegant interior, and its scale creates a sense of comfort and tranquility.
Forget the usual “standard room” or “sea view room” here – the rooms have romantic names like Rising Light and Waking Eclipse, which refer to the wide horizons and water panoramas; something less common in Dubai than you might think.
Rose Bar may not offer the same opportunities to meet Hollywood stars as its Miami counterpart, but it perfectly recreates the atmosphere of a decadent speakeasy. The restaurants are entrusted to the local group Rikas Hospitality, with Blue Door with coastal Anatolian cuisine and Maison Revka, where French and Slavic flavors are intertwined, worthy of attention.

Banyan Tree Dubai

Making the most of its beachfront location at the northernmost tip of Bluewaters Island, Banyan Tree Dubai is a carefully curated resort with an impressive spa. In addition to excellent French and Asian restaurants set amidst mature gardens within the hotel, additional dining and drinking options can be found along the beachfront promenade between Banyan Tree Dubai and its sister property, Delano Dubai, making this resort a great choice for foodies.
The resort is suitable for both families – offering excellent facilities for children, and for couples looking for peace and privacy during their vacation or weekend stay. The hotel’s stylish pool with its orange and white stripes is a wonderful place to relax and escape from city life.

One&Only One Za'abeel

one and only zabeel
One&Only One Za'abeel is a striking new addition to Dubai's already recognizable skyline. The hotel is housed in one of two imposing towers connected by a suspension bridge called The Link, a three-level boulevard that is home to a number of Michelin-starred restaurants.
On the rooftop, trendy couples enjoy the gentle waters of a suspended infinity pool and views of gardens, the desert and the Burj Khalifa. The deck, dotted with planted olive trees, is served by Peruvian-Japanese Tapasake, and Kerzner’s first urban “vertical resort” is full of new experiences: a three-story Longevity Hub wellness center by Clinique La Prairie, a Balinese multi-level pool surrounded by greenery and a graffiti-adorned tunnel that hides the acclaimed StreetXO restaurant by Spanish culinary wizard Dabiz Muñoz.
The rooms at One&Only One Za'abeel impress with a sense of spaciousness: high glass walls lead the eye to the horizon. The interior design by Jean-Michel Gatti is in shades of light sand, taupe and gold, and silk carpets soften the marble floors.
Guests in the corner suites can choose between Urban, Sanctuary or Creative room themes, each with unique amenities – from a conference table to a massage bed to a luxury sound system.
Most unforgettable? Waking up to the pink glow of sunrise at the foot of the bed; the magic of the curtains that part across the glass and steel, revealing the view from the corner suite; the panorama of illuminated Dubai from the Sphere cocktail bar at The Link; the view… the view… the view.

The Lana, Dorchester Collection

A personal Rolls-Royce Phantom is parked outside the entrance, and bellboys in top hats and tailcoats greet guests – yet arrival at The Lana remains a discreet and understated experience. This is the first Dorchester Collection hotel in the Middle East and a symbol of Dubai’s coming of age – the group behind iconic properties such as The Dorchester in London and the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles has chosen to bring its distinctive concept of understated, elegant luxury here.
Foster + Partners designed the 30-story, 225-room hotel around striking views: the circular Marassi Marina stretches out in front, its inky blue waters reflecting the lights of skyscrapers at night, with the majestic Burj Khalifa in the background. In a city often associated with excess, The Lana demonstrates the power of a measured aesthetic – the sofas are upholstered in pale pink velvet and the elevators are lined with pink leather with a wavy texture.
At the Riviera restaurant, young French chef Jean Imbert, famous for succeeding Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, creates a culinary odyssey inspired by the coastal cuisine of France and Italy. At Jara, Spanish chef Martín Berasategui serves Basque classics – a just recognition after his restaurants have been awarded a total of 12 Michelin stars.
The first Dior spa in Dubai opened its doors a month ago – the final piece of the already revolutionary puzzle of The Lana.

Address Beach Resort

With its sleek glass keyhole facade rising 77 stories above one of the city’s most popular beach areas, Address Beach Resort is a star on the Dubai skyline, from Dubai Marina to Ain Dubai. Its rooftop features the world’s highest infinity pool (certified by Guinness World Records), and the views are simply incredible – on a clear day, you can see the entire city and the top of the Burj Khalifa more than 20 kilometers away.
Guests can choose from six different room types – with marina or sea views, with or without balconies, as well as four categories of suites (with one, two or three bedrooms). All rooms feature a modern, clean style typical of all Address hotels – snow-white bedding, natural light woods, elegant cream wardrobes and soft carpets in shades of sea blue.
Dining experiences range from relaxed poolside lunches at The Beach Grill, to sophisticated Chinese cuisine at Mott 32, to an energetic atmosphere and a mix of Lebanese and Brazilian cuisine at Li' Brasil. The hotel's location is excellent for strolling to Bluewaters, Dubai Marina or JBR, with easy access to a host of bars, restaurants and attractions.

Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

The hotel that put Dubai on the world map, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, continues to impress with its distinctive sail-shaped silhouette and extravagant interiors filled with gold accents, marble and personalized service for each guest. The suites are spacious and sophisticated, the hotel offers a private beach, a helipad, as well as a number of gourmet restaurants such as Al Muntaha and SAL. The experience here is luxurious in every way.

Atlantis The Royal -Palm Jumeirah

Atlantis the royal hotel dubai
This new and striking icon on Palm Jumeirah impresses with architecture and design worthy of a masterpiece. The rooms and suites are crafted to perfection, many with incredible views of the Arabian Gulf. The hotel offers some of the best restaurants, headed by world-renowned chefs, such as Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Nobu by the Beach. Highlights include 17 swimming pools, a private beach and an impressive spa.

Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf

Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf
It remains a real surprise that even today, a place can be found on the 99-acre (40-hectare) Madinat Jumeirah estate in Dubai that seems untouched and secret – especially considering that this Arabian palatial oasis with four hotels along a two-kilometer private beach overlooking the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah celebrates its twentieth anniversary in 2024.
Staying at one of the newly renovated Malakiya Villas at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf is like being immersed in your own private kingdom. Guests can choose from seven self-contained two- and three-bedroom residences – including the impressive 650 sq m (7,000 sq ft) Royal Malakiya Villa. Each villa has its own private pool and terrace, and is accessed via a quiet abra waterway through man-made tropical lagoons.
The interior is a harmony of soft grays and creams, leather, silk and bouclé – all complemented by stylish paintings with an impressionistic character. In the master bedroom, the bed is so high and luxurious that once you settle in (like a true princess), you won’t want to leave the white sheets, even for breakfast.
A team of butlers is available 24/7 via WhatsApp and appears imperceptibly with perfectly prepared cocktails or little “jewels” for afternoon tea. A truly royal experience.

One&Only The Palm, Dubai

One&Only The Palm Resort attracts a diverse audience from all over the world – from Dubai itself to visitors from Europe and Asia. The hotel creates a sense of true oasis of tranquility – whether you are lounging by one of the magnificent pools or relaxing in a room equipped with a Bose sound system.
The spacious bathroom, stocked with Acqua Di Parma products, is almost as large as the bedroom itself. So spacious that the AdP cosmetics come in full-size bottles rather than miniature travel-sized ones.

Address Sky View

Address Sky View
The name of this hotel suggests its main advantage – the incredible views it offers: Burj Khalifa and the iconic city skyline can be seen from almost every point. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure that all 169 rooms enjoy breathtaking panoramas.
The linens are crisp and smooth, and the European design is clean, sophisticated and supremely luxurious. The rooms are extremely spacious and feature all the amenities expected of a five-star hotel, including smart TVs with complimentary satellite access.
The marble in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a bathtub, shower and double sinks, enhances the feeling of luxury, while the leather chairs add a touch of opulence and comfort. The service is at a five-star level with a friendly and welcoming attitude and attention to detail.

Armani Hotel Dubai

Armani Hotel Dubai
Inside the world's tallest building, Giorgio Armani's first hotel is as glamorous as you'd expect from the Italian designer. With 160 rooms in 11 different sizes, the rooms vary but are all calm and sophisticated, with furnishings in chocolate, taupe and grey. High-tech iPads control the lighting and curtains, and the branding is heavily featured.

Raffles the Palm Dubai

This magnificent hotel is a true palace, as if it had come straight out of a fairy tale. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a lobby surrounded by supercars, which sets the tone for the glamour inside. It is a stay that guests will not easily forget. Rooms, which are the most spacious in the emirate, are designed with regal elegance. Furnished in platinum or gold tones, each room features a sparkling chandelier, a private terrace and a refined marble bathroom with a bathtub, shower, double sinks and luxury toiletries.

Bab Al Shams, A Rare Finds Desert Resort, Dubai

Bab Al Shams
Bab Al Shams unfolds gradually, its sandstone façade, inspired by traditional Emirati forts, almost blending into the date palms and dunes surrounding it. In a city where everything is grand and luxurious, this desert resort impresses with its sense of proportion and style.
For nearly two decades, UAE residents have taken the 45-minute journey along Al Qudra Road, passing artificial lakes and horse racing tracks, to celebrate special occasions in the peace and quiet of Bab Al Shams. The famous infinity pool flows directly into the desert, and sunsets transform the dunes into a fairy-tale landscape lit by lanterns and torches.
After a 10-month impressive renovation, the resort is part of the Rare Finds Hotels & Resorts collection. The exterior remains true to the local architecture, but the interior spaces have been updated – brighter, with exquisite mother-of-pearl and brass details, subtle Arabic accents and decorative mosaics.
The main open-air restaurant space, Al Hadheerah, impresses with Arabic cuisine and evening performances – dancers, musicians and authentic culinary rituals. For a quieter atmosphere, try the Mediterranean Zala or the Pan-Asian Anwā.
The new spa includes men's and women's green marble hammams and treatments with local natural cosmetics. A walk through the Al Marmoom Desert Reserve reveals the rich nature of the UAE - from sand dunes and herds of camels to gazelles, moors and the first migratory flamingos of the season.
Bab Al Shams remains a magnetic place to escape the city and a true oasis of harmony in the desert. Read more about Bab Al Shams in our special article.

Palazzo Versace Dubai

This glamorous Italian palace is where tanned couples flock to experience a stay with the Versace emblem. Deluxe and Premium rooms are a fresh alternative to the neutral color palette that dominates so many other Dubai hotels. The bathroom features Roman-inspired mosaics on the walls, and complementary tiles adorn the marble floor. You’ll probably want to take home as many of the Versace toiletries you’re packing in your carry-on as possible.

Bulgari Resort Dubai

Bulgari Resort Dubai
Bulgari stands out for its location on its own artificial island in the shape of a seahorse and its low-rise architecture, which pleasantly contrasts with the towers that dominate the city everywhere. This is due to the Milanese architects, who designed the hotel to separate two bays – one is a quiet beach with villas, and the other is a modern yacht club with numerous restaurants and the Bulgari Yacht Club – a first of its kind for the brand.

Dubai

In a city of 160,000 hotel rooms, it’s increasingly difficult to stand out. But here we have the only hotel in the world designed entirely inside and out by the late great Zaha Hadid – an accolade that speaks for itself. “The Opus” – a gleaming glass structure pierced by an amorphous void, resembles an ice cube melting under the Middle Eastern sun. Its curves are fluid, its vision organic and futuristic, with the feeling of staying inseparable from the architecture itself.
The ME by Meliá group adds an artistic touch with a gallery for temporary exhibitions and public spaces decorated with paintings. The brand's Spanish roots are subtly present - cosmetics and spa by Natura Bisse, tapas at the Central restaurant, creative cocktails from the famous Madrid Salmon Guru.
But ME doesn’t rely on a nod to its own traditions or even the city’s Arabic motifs – a striking departure in the UAE, where “modern Arabia” is often the preferred style. ME makes its own rules.
